We are filled with joy and gratitude as we reflect on the journey of this truly sweet Nigerian bride-to-be and British groom-to-be. Their love story is one rooted in faith, community, patience, and purpose — a story that began in a place very close to our hearts.
Their journey started at Holy Trinity Brompton Church (HTB) in South Kensington, London — the same church we attend for our own services. Being part of the same church family has allowed us to witness their relationship grow naturally over the years, grounded in shared values, faith in God, and mutual respect. Because of this connection, capturing their engagement photos and video felt incredibly meaningful and personal to us.
This is not just an engagement shoot. It is a celebration of faith, culture, commitment, and the beautiful merging of two worlds.

A Love Story Rooted in Faith and Community
We have known this wonderful couple for several years through church, watching their relationship develop in such a genuine and steady way. Their love reflects what it means to build a relationship with God at the centre — patient, intentional, and deeply respectful.
Church was not only where they met, but also where their bond strengthened through shared worship, prayer, service, and community life. It has been a privilege to see how their relationship grew organically over time, supported by friends, mentors, and fellow church members who walked alongside them.
Now, as they prepare to step into marriage, we are incredibly honoured to document their Igbo x British Christian wedding — a celebration that brings together two cultures, two families, and two heritages under one shared faith.
An Igbo x British Christian Wedding: A Beautiful Cultural Union
One of the most special aspects of this wedding is the coming together of Igbo Nigerian traditions and British Christian heritage. Multicultural weddings carry such depth and beauty, and this couple embodies that harmony effortlessly.
Their wedding is not about choosing one culture over another — it is about honouring both. It is about recognising where they come from, while stepping forward together into a shared future.
As wedding photographers and videographers, we believe that these stories deserve to be captured thoughtfully, respectfully, and with deep cultural understanding. Every detail matters — from attire and locations to gestures, prayers, and emotions that reflect generations of tradition and faith.

Engagement Shoot at HTB Church, South Kensington
For their engagement shoot, it felt only right to begin at HTB Church, the place where their love story began. Standing outside the church, surrounded by familiar streets and memories, the atmosphere was filled with gratitude and reflection.
South Kensington offers such a timeless London elegance — historic architecture, charming streets, and a calm sophistication that perfectly matched the couple’s energy. Photographing them here felt symbolic, as if their past, present, and future were all meeting in one place.
There was a quiet confidence between them — the kind that comes from truly knowing one another and trusting the journey ahead.
Hyde Park: Where the Proposal Happened
After capturing moments around the church, we continued the engagement shoot in Hyde Park, one of the most meaningful locations for this couple. Hyde Park is not just a scenic backdrop; it holds some of their most cherished memories together.
It is a place where they often spend time walking, talking, praying, and simply enjoying each other’s company. Most importantly, it is where the groom-to-be proposed.
The proposal took place beside a simple tree log — a spot filled with quiet intimacy and personal significance. Sometimes the most powerful moments are not marked by grand gestures, but by meaningful places that hold shared memories. Being able to photograph them here, retracing the steps of such a life-changing moment, was incredibly special.
Wearing Isiagu: Honouring Igbo Heritage
For their engagement shoot, both the bride-to-be and groom-to-be chose to wear Igbo traditional engagement attire known as Isiagu. This choice was powerful, intentional, and deeply meaningful.
Isiagu is a traditional outfit worn by the Igbo people during important ceremonies such as engagements, weddings, and cultural celebrations. Recognised by its bold patterns, rich textures, and symbolic motifs, Isiagu represents heritage, pride, identity, and strength.
Seeing both of them wearing Isiagu together was a beautiful reflection of cultural unity. It spoke of honouring roots while moving forward together — embracing tradition while building something new.
The garments added a striking visual presence to the shoot, standing out beautifully against the greenery of Hyde Park and the classic architecture of South Kensington. More than fashion, the attire told a story — one of belonging, respect, and love that transcends borders.
A Joyful Two-Hour Photo and Video Session
During our two-hour engagement photo and video shoot, the atmosphere was filled with laughter, warmth, and genuine joy. Nothing felt forced. Every smile, every glance, every shared laugh came naturally.
We captured quiet moments of tenderness, playful interactions, and deep emotional connection. From strolling through Hyde Park to wandering the colourful streets surrounding HTB Church, each setting brought out a different side of their relationship.
As documentary-style wedding photographers and videographers, we love allowing couples to be fully themselves. Our approach is natural and observational, focusing on real emotions rather than posed perfection. This couple made our job incredibly easy — their love speaks for itself.

Trust Built Through Community
This couple is also our second engagement shoot this year from the same church community, which means so much to us. Our first couple from this community trusted us with both their engagement and wedding photography and films, and that trust has continued to grow within the church family.
Being recommended within a close-knit faith community is one of the greatest honours for us. It reflects not only our work, but the relationships we build, the care we show, and the respect we hold for each couple’s story.
We never take that trust lightly.
Looking Ahead to the Wedding Day
With their wedding day now just two weeks away, we are filled with excitement and anticipation. We already know their wedding will be deeply emotional, faith-filled, and rich in cultural meaning.
From the prayers and worship to the celebration of family and tradition, we cannot wait to document every moment — the quiet ones, the joyful ones, and everything in between.
To this beautiful couple: we wish you an early happy wedding. Thank you for trusting us with such an important chapter of your lives. We are so looking forward to seeing you again very soon and capturing your wedding photos and cinematic film.
